Our philosophy
Respect is the heart of my work—both in front of the lens and behind this screen.
I value your privacy as much as I value the trust of the models I photograph.
This policy explains, in plain language, how I handle data to maintain this artistic space.
Data collection
I only collect what is necessary for our dialogue and the site’s security:
- Correspondence: When you reach out via the contact form, I collect your name, email, and message to respond to you.
- User Accounts: If you create an account, I store your identity and preferences to personalize your experience.
- Address details: Full addresses are only stored when relevant to professional bookings or acquisitions.
- Model Validation: For models, I maintain a record of your consent for specific images. This ensures I never publish your likeness without your documented approval.
- Technical Logs: Minimal technical data (IP addresses) is kept briefly to prevent abuse and ensure site stability.
Publication ethics
My practice follows a strict human-first workflow.
No photo of an identifiable person is published without an explicit approved status in our internal validation system.
Models can review images assigned to them and grant or withdraw consent at any time.
If you appear on this site and wish to change your consent status, I honor these requests with priority.
Content safeguard
To protect visitors from accidental exposure to sensitive artistic content:
- Artistic nudes are excluded from default views.
- Access requires a verified identity and an explicit voluntary toggle by the user.
- This fail-safe approach ensures the gallery remains a safe space for all by default.
Retention and sharing
Messages are kept for 24 months. Consent records are kept as long as the image is published. Technical logs are purged regularly.
I never sell your data to third parties or advertisers.
Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap. We use FriendlyCaptcha for spam protection, choosing it specifically because it does not track you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. You can also object to processing or request portability.
For any request regarding your data or your image, please contact: mail@laurent-fournier.be.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD-GBA).
