About this collection
It began with an idea borrowed from another time.
A hat, a coat, the quiet elegance of a forgotten era. The old streets of Maastricht offered the setting, but the evening had little interest in following a script.
Stories emerged between photographs. Some were invented on the spot, others disappeared before they could become anything at all. Along the Meuse, the last light softened the city while shadows slowly claimed its corners.
She moved between these fragments without ever becoming just one character. A glance, a gesture, a face half-hidden beneath a hat. Sometimes the light revealed her. Sometimes it left only enough to imagine the rest.
There was no single story to tell.
Only a woman, an evening, and all the lives that might have existed between the shadows.
