About this collection
Nothing here remained at a comfortable distance.
A hand reached before the sentence arrived. Bodies folded into one another, faces broke under the light, and every new impulse forced the scene somewhere no one had prepared to follow.
With colour gone, there is nowhere for the gesture to hide. Light cuts the stage into fragments — a face, an arm, the pressure of one body against another — while everything beyond them is allowed to disappear.
These photographs do not explain what happened.
They hold the instant when instinct became action, before anyone could take it back.
